Incubation

We offer narrative intelligence, creative sanctuary, and strategic partnerships that invite experimentation, knowing that the most transformative stories emerge when artists feel both supported and challenged. Here’s what we can reveal about what’s currently in development.

Loading: Maybe We Saved the World

Winner of Just Play: A Game Jam for Climate Futures, Maybe We Saved the World is a thrilling open world survival game where every choice shapes the future of our planet. Narrated by the protagonist from a climate-healed future, they provide context and insight into the long-term consequences of each decision. Major events require quick thinking—like how to respond to real-time floods or devastating droughts—but the story is brought to life by ostensibly small decisions. Do you join a protest or a community garden? What changes if you appreciate the beauty of a park versus allowing yourself to wallow in dread? In this game, you don’t have to imagine the possibilities; you can live them. Along the journey, players gather glimmers or embers — created by hope or righteous anger — that enable them to spark change in their community. Encountering climate challenges is inevitable, but how you choose to react to them and navigate day-to-day life around them shapes a path unique to each playthrough that ultimately, but not always smoothly, leads to our salvation.

Loading: Everyday Heroes

In order to reach younger audiences with our mission to rewrite the narratives of civic leaders, we’re developing a digital docuseries with a leading platform that profiles the everyday heroes fighting for some of the most pressing issues of our time. The series will be inspirational and upbeat, showcasing the reality that extraordinary change is made by ordinary people.

Loading: Sci-Fi Adventure

How do we break through political resistance to get a story that urgently needs telling to a wider audience? We’re adapting a real-life crisis of justice into a sci-fi graphic novel that takes themes of authoritarian control, resistance, and oppression and embeds them into an action-adventure story. Working with leaders in this rapidly growing medium, we’re using universal struggles to engage audiences in a deliberately controlled narrative in order to fight back against censorship.
